At eThekwini Cheese we value the importance of new product development which is the life blood of any company. The creation of new products emanates from creative ideas, generally based on a broad knowledge and experience of the specific cheese product categories and the vision to expand and cross fertilise ideas from other food product categories. With extensive combined experience of some 80 years, the eThekwini Cheese Development Team has an in-depth understanding of a broad base of food manufacturing technology, dairy science, world marketplace and prides itself on the close working relationships built up with customers.

Using the best technology, we are able to create innovative, bespoke products with enhanced taste, appearance and functionality. Technology can also be applied to offer cost optimisation through value engineering, reduced handling and wastage. The process is expertly managed from concept through to product launch.
