At its 3,000 sq meter factory site in Ballito, KwaZuluNatal, eThekwini Cheese has invested in some of the most state of the art equipment within the dairy industry to enable us to offer innovative products that meet our high-quality standards.
We operate two semi-automated grating lines which enables to offer products in grated and diced/shredded formats to provide the widest possible range of products.
We also operate a processing line with the ability to produce specific formulated products that offer controlled characteristics to suit our customers’ individual requirements.
Our manufacturing output is close to 4 ton per hour with chilled and frozen storage facilities that can accommodate over 400 pallets and a dry goods storage area with space for up to 1000 pallets.
Also incorporated is a modern and fully equipped development centre that is used to create and develop bespoke concepts and products that can be carried forward to scale up trials in preparation for commercial production.
